Time is the most precious resource we have. Time does not discriminate between you and I, each day we only have 24 hours to spend. Time cannot be hoarded or saved in the bank, nor can it be borrowed. However, it can be invested. Time that is unused (or poorly used) simply disappears, and each morning our 24 hours is renewed.
Time is a resource that needs to be reclaimed. Our dreams can be turned into bona-fide achievements when we redeem our time. I came across a resource that I want to share with you, for just this purpose. It is adapted from Martin Yate's book "Knock 'em Dead Cover Letters". He calls it the "Plan, Do, Review Cycle".
Our phones and tablets enhance our lives, they help us become more informed shoppers, keep us organized, but they can also constrict our personal relationships and impede our productivity at work. Have you ever gone a day without your phone? Does even the thought of it cause you anxiety?
We may not have a diagnosis that tells us we're "technology addicts." But intuitively we know we have a problem: our family has called us out on it, we've texted while driving, we compulsively check our phone for messages, seeking out that serotonin high of getting a message.
